Great Eastern Takaful in collaboration with Sea Monkey Project had organised an upcycling workshop for 167 students of University Malaya in December 2022.

The workshop was aimed to raise awareness on the concerning plastic pollution issue while sharing some new learnings on upcycling initiative along with the introduction of the 2-in-1 upcycling machine.

The students were given the opportunity to learn how to operate the upcycling machine and produce new items from recyclable plastic waste.
