These interim measures aim to provide our customers the flexibility to better navigate and manage their financials while preserving their medical coverage.

3. Temporary Suspension of New Direct Debit Authorisation (DDA) Applications

Reassignment of certificate

The assignee may drop or may reassign back the Takaful benefit to the previous assignor/owner.

However, if the assignee predeceased, the existing assignment will be revoked by notifying GETB together with submission of copy of death certificate. The certificate will then be assigned back to the previous assignor/owner. The assignor may appoint a new assignee with the submission of a new assignment form (PSF19).

If the reassignment is from a Bank to the Participant/assignor, a letter of release from the Bank is required together with the Reassignment form.
